The Village of Schoolcraft has hosted a 4th of July celebration (almost) every year since 1925.  It's one of the things our town is famous for.

The celebration is the result of the hard work and collaboration of several groups, including:

• The Schoolcraft 4th of July Committee

• The members of the Schoolcraft Village Council who put on the car show

• The athletic boosters who operate the Firecracker 5 race

• The American Legion that puts on a great BBQ and live music

• The Schoolcraft Ladies Library, who host lovely bake and book sales

• The Schoolcraft Methodist Church, who host a delicious ice cream social

• The police, not just from Schoolcraft Village, but from all the surrounding towns, who help direct traffic so that we can host the parade

• All the individuals, businesses and community groups who enter the parade

• Everyone who comes out to support all the goings-on throughout the village
